Permian Basin
Assembling land and power in West Texas.
Harper Petroleum options acreage, secures fuel and power, clears title, and delivers sites ready for power-intensive users. We work where the land, the pipelines, and the permits actually are.
What we do
Land and title
Option and lease acquisition, surface use agreements, right-of-way, and curative title work. Runsheets built from the courthouse record, not a database summary.
Power and fuel
Siting for behind-the-meter generation, residue gas supply off adjacent midstream, and site development structured to stay out of the interconnection queue.
Deal structure
Assignable option positions, joint development, and lease structures built so a counterparty can step in without unwinding the work already done.
How we work
Most of the hard part of a West Texas project is not the equipment. It is knowing who owns the surface, who owns the minerals, where the gas actually is, and which conversations have to happen in what order. That work gets done on the ground, in the courthouse, and over the phone with people who pick up because they know you.
Harper Petroleum is owned and operated by Dave Joyner, a landman working the Midland and Delaware basins since 2008.
We take a position early, do the land and title work, line up the fuel and the power, and carry a site to the point where a developer or operator can move on it. We are comfortable being the party that assembles, and comfortable handing off cleanly when that is the right outcome.
We work with landowners, midstream operators, power providers, and end users. If you are looking for a site, or you have acreage that ought to be doing more than it is, that is a conversation worth having.
